That is what I’ve heard. From a 3 days event in 2011, which was declared a success in gathering more than a million of youth, it will be a 5 days event. I’m pretty sure that KBS has lots of plans under their belt for the 5 days if they are really going to do it.
Looking at the itineraries and the activities of last year event, I can’t imagine the hectic and the challange faced by organizers and participants. To cater and handle youth is one thing, to meet the expactation of visitors is another thing.
So, one can just imagine, two days extra for the same event this year. How is it going to be? How Putrajaya going to be conquered and coloured by youth, organizers and visitors? What will be the events and activities planned for this year?
I’m pretty sure that it is going to be tougher this year. With extra expactation to cater additional numbers from what they have last year, it will not be an easy job. I hope they can do their best.
In conjucntion of this event, from an entrepreneur and business point of view, this a chance to make extra income. A chance to engage at least a million potential customer. A chance to collect business data for marketing and business development purposes.
However, perhaps, for certain very political minded person, this can be seen as political agenda. One also can interprete this as a political mileage.
For these type of people, a friendly message from me. Don’t ever think like that. Be it Barisan Nasional or Pakatan Rakyat, DO NOT ever attempt to make this a political event. If you are doing so, you will make youth further than you, and later on, only yourself to blame when that happens.
So, for those who are still youth, and youth at heart, (and those looking for business opportunites) you can start finding out information on the event. What I heard, it is going to be from 22nd May 2012 to 27th May 2012.
