I supposed that’s the between the line message that I get when I was passed a status posted in FB:
It sounded like this:
Calon2 mereka (kononnya para Ustaz) akan d letakkan d tempat DAP menentang BN (Cina atau India). Slogannya “Org Islam Haram Undi Org Kafir”.
Tujuannya utk pecahkan undi Melayu bagi mempastikan kekalahan DAP. Matlamatnya tidak lain adalah utk menghalang PR ke Putrajaya.
HARAM undi mereka kerana mereka menentang perjuangan menegak amar ma’ruf nahi munkar.
WAJIB undi DAP kerana mereka membantu perjuangan menegak Keadilan dan Kebenaran!’ – Dr Badrulamin Bahron
I don’t feel good about this. Why?
Previously, whenever I bumped into question who to vote if there’s an option between muslim and non-muslim, muslim voters usually will be urged to vote muslim candidate. Unfortunately, most of the time this situation referring to PAS vs other than UMNO. Same goes when a question was popped out when PKR candidate is a muslim. This kind of campaign has been used for the benefit of Pakatan Rakyat, in which at times resulted BN’s candidate other than UMNO loses.
Ok, fine. What past is past…
However, when the same “rule” is not applicable to situation as mentioned above.. I have been wondering… is it really “lillahitaala”.. or for the sake of power?
I am still waiting for full line up of candidates from both sides, as from there, I could determine how strong Islamic cause from Pakatan Rakyat (who usually claim holier and more Islamic than Barisan Nasional is) after their manifesto on Islamic cause disappoints me.
Question on the street: Is Islamic cause exclusive only to a party? When others claim to be one, it is deemed as hoax?
