Perhimpunan akan diadakan di stadium: Ambiga

Kemaskini:

  2. Bersih 2.0 will hold its rally for electoral reforms in a stadium and not in the streets, the group said today fresh from an audience with the Yang Di-Pertuan Agong in Istana Negara. “We accept the government’s offer to hold the demonstration in a stadium. We will not hold it in the streets,” Bersih 2.0 chief Datuk Ambiga Sreenevasan told reporters today.

    NO HOLDS BARRED

    Raja Petra Kamarudin

    Datuk: Tan Sri!

Tan Sri: Calm down, Datuk….apa hal bising sangat ni?

Datuk: I have some good news, Tan Sri.

Tan Sri: Ah, what is it this time? Ambiga has migrated and has applied for Australian citizenship?

Datuk: No lah, Tan Sri. Better than that.

Tan Sri: What can be better than Ambiga leaving Malaysia?

Datuk: The BERSIH march is off…cancelled…batal.

Tan Sri: Hmm…that is certainly good news. How come?

Datuk: Ambiga had an audience with the Agong this afternoon and BERSIH has agreed to cancel the street march and hold a rally in the stadium instead.

Tan Sri: His Majesty agreed to meet Ambiga?

    Datuk: Yes.

Tan Sri: So that means His Majesty recognises BERSIH?

    Datuk: Looks like it.

Tan Sri: So that means we can’t ban BERSIH then.

    Datuk: Why not, Tan Sri?

Tan Sri: Aiyah…if His Majesty had an official meeting with BERSIH this would mean His Majesty recognises BERSIH.

    Datuk: So?

Tan Sri: So it means we can’t ban BERSIH. If not then His Majesty would be guilty of collaborating with an illegal organisation and we would have to arrest His Majesty under the Internal Security Act.

Datuk: Oh…I never thought of that.

Tan Sri: Yes…and that’s why you are a mere Datuk while I am a Tan Sri.

Datuk: That also means we cannot allege that BERSIH is backed by the Communists and Jews. If not then His Majesty would be guilty of working with the Communists and Jews.

Tan Sri: Now you are getting it. So how can that be good news?

Datuk: Didn’t His Majesty think of this? Aiyah…why so stupid?

Tan Sri: Hey, that is seditious. You can’t call the Agong stupid.

Datuk: No, I didn’t mean it like that. I meant it was stupid of us to allow the Agong to meet Ambiga.

Tan Sri: But we dragged the Agong into this. So how can we prevent the Agong from meeting BERSIH?

Datuk: Ia lah. We made a big mistake in issuing that statement from the Agong.

Tan Sri: Hey! Cakap baik sikit!

Datuk: Sorry, I meant we made a big mistake in asking the Agong to issue that statement.

Tan Sri: That’s better. Don’t ever say we issued that statement on behalf of the Agong.

Datuk: Okay lah, but at least the street march is off…now it’s been reduced to just a rally in a stadium.

Tan Sri: How many people do you think will attend the rally?

Datuk: Not sure. Maybe 100,000…could even be 200,000. Now that it is no longer an illegal assembly and there is no danger of arrests many more people may turn out. Those who were initially afraid to turn out may now turn out since it is safe. Mana tahu? Could even be 300,000 people.

Tan Sri: How would 300,000 people park their cars at the stadium?

Datuk: Oh, cannot lah. There is not enough car park space for 300,000 people. They will have to park their cars elsewhere and walk to the stadium…or take public transport.

Tan Sri: So, to get to the stadium they will have to walk, right?

    Datuk: That’s right.

Tan Sri: Which means they will be marching to the stadium instead of marching to the Agong’s palace, right?

Datuk: Yes, that’s right…oh…I see what you mean.

Tan Sri: Yes, that’s what I mean. So the march is still on then. Only now it is a legal march, not an illegal march. And they will march to the stadium instead of to the palace. And we can’t do anything about it because the Agong has agreed to this. We can no longer arrest the marchers.

Datuk: Aiyah! This is a disaster. We got tricked. What to do, Tan Sri?

Tan Sri: What can we do? His Majesty has just given BERSIH legitimacy and it has been agreed that a legal rally can be held in the stadium and because of the huge crowd that may turn out they cannot drive to the stadium but will have to march there dressed in yellow shirts.

    Datuk: Mampus!

Tan Sri: Yes, mampus. This is even worse. At least if they proceeded with the original plan we can ban BERSIH and declare it a menace to society and a threat to nation security. Now we can’t touch them. We can’t even arrest anyone on 9th July. And because the rally is legal more people will come out. They are not scared any more. And Umno Youth and PERKASA can’t march on the streets in opposition to BERSIH. If they do we will have to arrest them.

Datuk: Alamak. We can’t touch the BERSIH marchers but will have to arrest the Umno Youth and PERKASA marchers. And Khairy already said if BERSIH cancels the street march he is prepared to work with them. So Umno Youth must now support the BERSIH rally at the stadium.

Tan Sri: Exactly. Now you know why I am a Tan Sri and you are just a Datuk?

Datuk: And that means we can’t also ask the Agong to revoke Ambiga’s citizenship.

Tan Sri: Revoke citizenship for what? For obeying the Agong by cancelling the street march and by holding a rally at the stadium like how Najib asked them to?

Datuk: Somehow I think we have been had…suckered big time.

Tan Sri: Aiyah…please get out of here and leave me alone. I need to draft my resignation letter.

Datuk: What should I do, Tan Sri?

Tan Sri: I suggest you also go draft your resignation letter. Najib will want both our heads on a silver platter after this.

    1. dawai koko+,
      satu petikan menarik…

u see what i meant by paranoid u one good umno licker????

    1. dawai koko+,

Biarkan mereka menjalankan tugas mereka. Ini kerana, jika apa-apa yang tidak baik berlaku, mereka juga yang dihukum masyarakat.

  4. yeah right depa sangat tahu ..sangat tahu pergerakan maklumat dan perjalanan hati manusia..

then tell me why the fuck ibrahim ali is still around though he has openly declare war against our very own people, malaysian (chinese?),christians?

tell me why the fuck police just stood by looking at menacing mamak n malays rallying around penang the other day wearing red t-shirts (siap upah warga indon lagi dgn pengikat kepala laila ha illallah ) to voice their stand againts lim guan eng/bersih ?why tak clamp down kalau by law any assembly without police permit is deemed illegal??

oh kalau UMNO and co tak apa lah?

    why the double standard?

    menjalankan tanggung jawap my ass!

    1. dawai koko+,
Yes, Ibrahim Ali declared war, but has he done anything against the law? Please make a police report and encourage others to do as I’ve heard thousand made police report against BERSIH.

If not mistaken, Senator Ezam was arrested in Penang for that rally.

And hmm.. I’ve been wondering also why Ambiga, Mat Sabu and co also are not arrested for declaring to proceed with this rally last time around… double standard? I am also wondering why the ones making bad statements about YDP Agong not being arrested too for wanting to throw him from the throne?

      Double standard? Your ass maybe😀

  5. clearly u’re one good umno-meet-ibrahim ali licker with ur statement dude!

    “dawai koko+,
Yes, Ibrahim Ali declared war, but has he done anything against the law? Please make a police report and encourage others to do as I’ve heard thousand made police report against BERSIH.”

hey fucker, dah berlambak police report dah pun!

    So what?

buat bom molotov pakai botol air mineral?

agong dah jumpa “komunis-kuasa kristian” ambiga, a samad said n other fellow?
    agong recognize komunis ke bang?

ke umno yang bangang2 tak abis nak paham what they should do?

tak payah lu nak sembang bab akidah la bai kalau pemimpin islam melayu lu hanya pandai bersilat bodoh depan crowd melayu yang bodoh!

    1. wow.. “nice” insults…

      my dear friend,
If really Ibrahim Ali has prepared molotov cocktail or any kind of bomb, preparing to do chaos, yes, he should be arrested.

and since when UMNO/Barisan Nasional is PDRM or PDRM is UMNO/Barisan Nasional? Are you sure that they are the same? I think you are confused resulted by your own hatred.

And may I ask this also.. since when PERKASA is part of UMNO?

  6. BERSIH 2.0 RALLY IS TO BE HELD AFTER ALL – IN THE STADIUM PLEASE
Would you believe that the findings of weapons, explosives and Bersih yellow colored T Shirts by the police in KL recently is the work of the Bersih organizers or its supporters? And do you not see how irrational and stupid the police were in pointing their ten fingers and declaring that this has to be the dirty work of Bersih? Wasn’t I right in saying that the Special Branch officers today are no longer of the caliber of those officers of the 60’s and the 70’s?

I am not a full fledged intelligence trained retired military officer, but having seen and worked with some Special Branch officers of the 60’s and 70’s, I think by preempting that the ‘loot’ to be the work of Bersih, even without making a thorough investigation first, is arguably stupid and dumbfounded. Special Branch officers of yesteryear’s and the many that I am personally acquainted with would not have come out with such a preposterous conclusion.

Anyone with a bit of common sense would not want to do what the supposedly ‘perpetrators’ did for the following reasons:
    1. Placing the ‘loot’ at a conspicuous place to be easily noticed by the public.
    2. The timing for placing the ‘loot’ is also not right. If someone seriously wants to create problems, they would do it at the very last minute and in the most secured place.
    3. Surely, the ‘perpetrators’ has to make sure that their act is not seen by anyone. They would have to surveil the area first before doing their job.

What is most amusing is the claim that several Bersih yellow shirts were also found among the ‘loot’. My guess is that these shirts must be the ones taken by the police in their raids or stripped off their owners during the arrests. My common sense tells me that it is merely a ploy to reinforce the police claim that it is indeed an act perpetrated by Bersih or its supporters. I don’t buy this kind of bluff my dear friend. If at all it was Bersih that had placed the ‘loot’ and had intended to use it during the rally, the Bersih supporters do not need the shirts anyway; they would have worn the Bersih shirts before joining the rally itself. Why rush to wear the Bersih shirt the very last minute?

Please, I have had enough of this nonsense. Now that PM Naijb has allowed the rally to be held at the stadium, let’s all join hands; Bersih, dissenting and pro-Bersih NGO’s, the opposition parties, Perkasa, UMNO Youth, police and all like-minded citizens, and together we gather in peace and harmony, to show our solidarity and demands for an election reform. Is this wrong?

And to Home Minister Hishamuddin, I am yet to hear you annul the order that the Bersih 2.0 rally an illegal assembly. The same goes to the IGP and his Deputy. And why don’t all of you join us in this peaceful rally? I am quite sure the people will offer you a bunch of roses.

    1. dawai koko+ and dear readers,
based on the opinion… let us ponder for a moment..

Is it not funny to think that the loot is immediately found after Ambiga said the rally to be held at a stadium? As if the police has known the outcome of what His Royal Highness discussion with BERSIH and done this stupid action?

Do things like this be at a secretive place? Do a bomb sometimes left in remote place or an open space where public can see?

I am in opinion that some simple things can be deceiving ignorance is bliss… And I am not saying the writer is totally wrong.

Let us not simply conclude things.. shall we?

You are part of people on the street. My opinion might not as good as yours. Come, please share your thoughts with us!!!
