Well, at least that I am thinking when I read what is reported by the Star, as follows:
IPOH: With Perak DAP deputy chief M. Kulasegaran away in Nepal, State chief Ngeh Koo Ham and his secretary cousin Nga Kor Ming has decided to keep mum about their ongoing hostilities.
Ngeh in a statement Sunday said they would not be answering questions or queries on the matter as they have been directed by party secretary-general Lim Guan Eng not to say anything about the issue.
“We shall wait for Kulasegaran’s return from Nepal and also for Guan Eng to convene a meeting, which will also be attended by Lim Kit Siang (DAP adviser),” he said.
Kulasegaran is currently taking a break in Nepal to purportedly cool off after blowing his top and threatening to resign as the party’s Perak deputy chief.
Ngeh and Nga were alleged to be “the real power” of the DAP in Perak, sidelining others for plum posts in the party and the state government during the brief spell that the Pakatan Rakyat alliance, comprising also of PAS and PKR, was in control.
Kit Siang has since advised Kulasegaran to reconsider his threat and also to ponder over the matter while he is abroad.
However, writing in his blog on Saturday, Kulasegaran challenged Ngeh to a public debate on policies that the cousins had implemented during the 11 months that the Pakatan was in power in Perak.
“I am willing to challenge him issue by issue,” said Kulasegaran, adding that he had made the dare on Friday but did not receive any reaction from Ngeh.
“Name the place and time and I will be willing to tell all. Let’s be clean and fair to all before we ourselves make allegations against the Barisan Nasional,” he said.
A state DAP committee member, who was present during the “peace talks” on Friday, claimed Ngeh had no intention to settle problems affecting the party.
“His aim is to finish off people who do not see eye to eye with them,” he said, accusing Ngeh and Nga of being the root cause of all the party’s problems.
An aide of Kulasegaran said, to date, Ngeh had not offered an olive branch to the state deputy chief to settle their dispute.
I am certain, somehow, this will be one of the options available to divert own fault to someone else, like what their counterpart in PKR has done. I know that I may sounded like accusing, but down the memory lane, everything that not going well within Pakatan Rakyat, every single fault being blamed to Barisan Nasional and UMNO (but never MCA and MIC) even though that there is no proof.
Weird isn’t it when your own election being “infiltrate” by outsider, when actually there have been disputes even before PKR election started. One by one branches having problems with their electoral process. Is it UMNO that powerful (or power-fool)? I have been wondering…Why never accuse MCA or MIC to sabotage any Pakatan Rakyat’s doings?
It seems now that one by one of Pakatan Rakyat’s party component is having little mis-understanding except for PAS who have their sights on Galas by-election. DAP not only facing troubles in Perak, but also charity money that sourced from gambling money. Funny thing is, the leader who once said he is amazed by Caliph Umar Abdul Aziz, which then proudly supported by PAS by saying that Lim Guang Eng will emulate the Caliph. Is donating gambling money to the poor an act by Islamic Caliph? I don’t think so.
In which, I have to ask this to PAS supporters. Do you really believe that DAP is really sincere in their fight with you against Barisan Nasional? Will DAP be a good and trusted partner in your fight for Islamic country? Can the words uttered before that DAP is learning Islam can be used again? Can we believe those words now after all these that have happened? Ask yourselves and your conscious. Be sincere to yourself as Allah and you only knows what and how actually you feel about this. No need to divert by questioning UMNO or Barisan Nasional. It is about you and your partnership with DAP, not about UMNO or Barisan.
Barisan Nasional ain’t perfect.. and so do Pakatan Rakyat!!!
Question on the street: Walaweh, then PRK Galas, is it going to be PAS alone to protect DAP and PKR, yet PAS is not the front runner leading Pakatan Rakyat?
