Original Article

I’m pretty sure some blogs already starting cover on the moved made by Tun Dr Mahathir. What is his move? NST reports:

Dr M willing to face probe of his 22-year rule

2009/12/23

KUALA LUMPUR: Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad has welcomed Lim Kit Siang’s proposal to set up a royal commission of inquiry to investigate whether he “burned” RM100 billion on grandiose projects and corruption during his 22 years as prime minister.

Dr Mahathir said the commission should not be made up of government nominees, but should have impeccable people as members, including foreigners and those of Transparency International.

He suggested that the commission should not focus on just one prime minister, but also Tun Abdullah Badawi, also a former prime minister.

Dr Mahathir wrote in his blog that the commission’s probe should include how RM270 billion of Petronas money paid during Abdullah’s five-year term was spent, what projects were financed by the huge fund and the cost of all the projects.

“It should also include how much money was lost due to the cancellation of the crooked bridge and the Johor Baru- Padang Besar railway project.

“What is the cost over-run in the construction of the Bakun Hydroelectric project, the financing of the second Penang Bridge and the procedure followed when giving out this contract?”

He also wrote that for the inquiry to be successful, the government must give an undertaking for full access to the commission of all the documents and accounts between the period of 1981 and 2009.

“There should be no cover-up of any kind. Barry Wain must provide documentary proof of any sum that he alleged I had burned.”

Wain is the author of the book Malaysian Maverick: Mahathir Mohamad in Turbulent Times.

Dr Mahathir also agreed with Lim, who is DAP adviser, that the investigation would reflect Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak’s commitment in combating corruption. He said he would cooperate with the commission.

“Depending on its result, I reserve the right to sue Barry Wain, Lim Kit Siang and Malaysiakini.com for libel for a sum to be disclosed later.”

Dr Mahathir also requested that the book be released immediately.

“I am not in need of government protection.”

After so much allegations, talks, debates on the net, on the street, at the mamak stall, and wherever we can talk about it, it has finally come to those who have the balls to make such move. I believe, this is the chance for any Tun Dr Mahathir haters to get a piece of him.

I, for one, agree to those who have been accusing him of such allegations to come forward, make a case and provide evidence of the said allegations. If he is guilty of what he has done, so be it. At the very least some things get cleared out of the air.

So, any Malaysians, who have the evidence, please come forward with the evidence. Allegations alone will not help you. For the sake of the truth and Malaysians..please!!!

and..

Wenger J Khairy (who suddenly claimed himself as “Judge Wenger Khairy???), it’s time for you too to come out and provide such evidence.. not just in blogs anymore.. it’s time for you to shine!

Words on the street: It has become more and more interesting.. what more to come? Maybe we can have as much as Royal Comissions to investigate each one of political tycoons?

  2. FROM THE DESK OF THE HONOURABLE JUDGE WENGER J. KHAIRY

    Ondastreet,

Tun said he is ready to be probed. I have listed all the documents that I require to clear him from these allegations. I think its quite clear – the evidence lies with him and he has to provide to us for us to clear him.

Or maybe you can’t comprehend English.

I suggest in that case, you stop supporting PPSI.

We have listed all the documents on the Court of Wenger’s Official Website.

Since you know how to lift articles and comments from my website, can you publish this request.

    YOURS FAITHFULLY

    HON. WENGER J. KHAIRY

ODS: By all means, Wenger J Khairy.. provide the evidence too and bring him to court. I have no problem. In fact, I would love to see that.

With him ready to be probed, it means he is ready to face who alleged him with such accusations. Or else, it would not be said:

Dr Mahathir also agreed with Lim, who is DAP adviser, that the investigation would reflect Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak’s commitment in combating corruption. He said he would cooperate with the commission.

“Depending on its result, I reserve the right to sue Barry Wain, Lim Kit Siang and Malaysiakini.com for libel for a sum to be disclosed later.”

Dr Mahathir also requested that the book be released immediately.

“I am not in need of government protection.”

So, what’s your interpretation to the quoted text above?🙂

FROM THE DESK OF THE HONOURABLE JUDGE WENGER J. KHAIRY

    ko judge? aku LORD! hahaha.

ODS: And I am just a man on the street… can only look, watch and talk.. but have the power to vote.. hahaha😀

  4. Salam ODS,

    Wenger said-
…’the evidence lies with him and he has to provide to us for us to clear him’

GUILTY UNTIL PROVEN NOT GUILTY ???

ODS: Do not know which principal he use.. better ask him..🙂

  5. I use the principle of Lingam which is also known as Korrek Korek Korek.

This entire episode was triggered by Parpu Kari and Big Dog. If you like Tun, then you must tell them off.

    http://wengerkhairy.blogspot.com/2009/12/i-blame-big-dog-and-parpu.html

ODS: Mr Wenger, who am I to tell them off? If you have such things to settle with both of them, get back to them, not by attacking others (e.g: by attacking Tun Dr Mahathir). Don’t invite more if you can’t handle the pressure. Diverting will not always solve the issue.. especially when it is noticable when it is clearly diverted.

You do realise that Tun Dr Mahathir has supporters. Some can argue brilliantly, some not up to your standard. And I’m pretty sure you can recognise who are being paid and who isn’t. Whatever it is, you should control yourself, as I am in opinion that you are brilliant. It is just not that “applicable” when you lose your cool.

As for BigDog and Parpu, I noticed that their articles which test your nerves mainly on Haji Khairy and his issues. If you feel they are not writing the truth, encounter with facts, not by diverting to other issues. Once settled (either you give fact or accepting their allegations or by asking such question for them to support their accusations), then only you may launch counter attack (as you wish).

However, I just recommend that you do not lauch any attack for the mean time as I see that Haji Khairy supporters have done “over-promotion/ excessive promotion” of Haji Khairy (including you). Better you argue in sense of dismantle such accusations on Haji Khairy.

Stay in the issue.. not diverting it. Your tendency of diverting, editing and deleting comments is quite high. Why do I say “quite high”? Simple.. it is easily noticable because as you said, there are brilliant person among your readers. When you change, people will notice.. and the likes of your habits of diverting, editing and deleting comments will develop negative impression of you.

You are brilliant, but it doesn’t reflect when you write based on hatred and unstable emotions.

    Thank you.🙂
